The 36m statistic you cite (the Democrats often refer to 48m depending on the day of the week) is a phony number, mainly because the vast majority of uninsured are the wealthy who choose to pay for treatment rather than insurance, the young (or so-called indestructibles), and people who are eligible for an existing program but don&#039;t know it.

People who actually like their insurance programs will see their premiums increase and may well see their work cut medical benefits because they know that government now will pick up the tab. Where was TORT reform in the bill, eh? If the Democratic Party enjoy sitting on their high horse why don&#039;t they pass legislation on ambulance chasers like John Edwards?</description>
