America’s ‘Pollmaster General’ to speak in Belfast
Posted on November 17th, 2009 1 commentInternationally-acclaimed US pollster John Zogby, political researcher of choice for media giants Reuters, NBC, Fox News, Gannett News Service and Forbes.com will share insights into President Obama’s approval rating with a Belfast audience on 4th December, as part of the University of Ulster’s Distinguished International Visitor’s Address (DIVA) programme.
The event, which will also discuss global geo-political, business and public opinion issues, is the third in the DIVA series, which invites international experts to share their specialist communications knowledge with students, faculty staff, and alumni, as well as business, government and voluntary leaders. The series is also endorsed by the US Consul in Belfast.
Hailed as the “pacesetter in the polling business” by the New York Post, Zogby is CEO and President of worldwide research and marketing firm Zogby International and author of the best-selling ‘The Way We’ll be’ – The Zogby Report on the Transformation of the American Dream – viewed as one of the 25 books President Obama should have by his bedside by political magazine Washington Monthly.
